corona virusCovid 19

As a company, we are adhering to the Covid 19 guidelines

Therefore could you please greet the engineer and advise where the appliance is and then please adhere to the 2-meter social distance rule.

Our engineers will be wearing gloves and carrying out a dynamic risk assessment throughout the repair.

Please excuse the formality of this notice. Due to the increase and severity of the coronavirus, and the recent advice from the Government to minimise close social contact, I have had to implement from immediate affect difficult but necessary action this is to protect you, myself and family members who are classed at risk!

I am still available to repair urgent and essential appliances. Some services will be disrupted, I feel it is necessary to remind everyone while visiting properties the risks involved includes everyone and want to minimise the risks as much as possible.
These are the main questions I will be taking into consideration before visiting; If, anyone in the household has had a fever?

Are they self-isolating?

Do they have a cough?

Any related flu/cold or generally feeling unwell there must be a completely clear 14 days as per government advice before I will attend.

While on-site, the engineer will be wearing gloves for protection to prevent transmitting any virus. Also as they can be visiting several properties in a day and many are elderly and or at risk so need to minimise close contact.

Therefore can I please ask that all customers stay at least 2 meters away from my workplace area and if possible stay in a completely different room?

Prior to the visit please wipe down any surfaces, door handles / including the appliances and the floors in the area they will be working in. All appliances must be freely accessible and unobstructed with a working clearance of 2 meters to be able to work safely on the appliance.

Customers must inform me of any health concerns or recent changes prior to and up to the day of the visit so the engineer can be informed as soon as possible.

The engineer will also risk Asses when at on-site and if they feel that the working conditions are unsafe the call will be postponed will have to be rearranged.

Thank you for your cooperation in these difficult times we are facing.
